Great Summer Side Dishes Made with French's® Mustard

Zesty Potato Salad
Prep Time: 15 min.
Cook Time: 12 min.
Chill Time: 1 hour
1 1/2 lbs. red potatoes, cut into small cubes
1 1/4 tsp. salt, divided
1/2 cup light sour cream
1/3 cup French's® Honey Mustard
1/3 cup plain nonfat yogurt
1 cup sliced celery
1/2 cup halved sugar snap peas
1/2 cup thinly sliced yellow or red bell pepper
1/4 cup diced red onion
1. BOIL potatoes with 1/2 tsp. salt in water to cover for 12 min. until potatoes are tender. Drain and cool.
2. COMBINE sour cream, mustard, yogurt and 3/4 tsp. salt in large bowl. Toss in potatoes, celery, peas, bell pepper and onion; mix well.
3. CHILL 1 hour before serving.
Makes 6 servings (about 5 cups)

Asian Chicken & Broccoli Slaw Salad
Prep Time: 15 min.
Chill Time: 1 hour
1/3 cup French's® Honey Dijon Mustard
1/3 cup light Asian sesame dressing
2 tbsp. orange juice or water
2 tsp. grated fresh ginger
1 (12 oz.) pkg. broccoli cole slaw
3 cups shredded cooked chicken
1 large red bell pepper, thinly sliced
1/3 cup chopped fresh cilantro
4 tbsp. chopped roasted peanuts
1. COMBINE mustard, dressing, juice and ginger in large bowl.
2. STIR in broccoli slaw, chicken and bell pepper. Cover and chill.
3. SPRINKLE salad with cilantro and peanuts before serving.
Makes 4 servings
Nutritional Analysis Per Serving: 303 Calories, 10 g Fat, 2 g Saturated Fat, 0 g Trans Fat, 72 mg Cholesterol, 32 g Protein, 20 g Carbohydrates, 5 g Dietary Fiber, 458 mg Sodium.
Tip: To prepare cooked chicken, microwave 1 lb. chicken breasts, covered, about 7 min. on HIGH until cooked through. Chill.
BBQ Baked Beans
Baked beans are a must with your favorite barbecued foods.
Prep Time: 10 min.
Cook Time: 25 min.
1 large bell pepper, chopped
1 small onion, chopped
2 strips bacon, finely chopped
3 (16 oz.) cans pork and beans
3/4 cup Cattlemen's® Award Winning Classic Barbecue Sauce or Cattlemen's® Authentic Smoke House Barbecue Sauce
1/4 cup French's® Spicy Brown Mustard or French's® Classic Yellow® Mustard
1/4 cup brown sugar
1. PLACE pepper, onion and bacon in large, microwave-safe bowl. Cover bowl loosely and microwave on HIGH for 5 min.
2. STIR in remaining ingredients.
3. MICROWAVE, uncovered, for 20 min. or until heated through and mixture is slightly thickened; stirring twice.
Makes 8 to 10 servings
Conventional Oven Directions: Sauté bacon and vegetables in large nonstick skillet until bacon is cooked;
transfer to casserole. Stir in remaining ingredients. Bake at 400ºF for 45 to 50 minutes, stirring occasionally.
