Tasty Liver and Onions
1 lb. bacon, diced
Pepper
1 1b. liver
1 1/2 c. milk
1 c. onion, chopped
1/4 c. bread crumbs
1/4 c. flour
1 tbsp. margarine, melted
1 tsp. salt
Sauté bacon and onions until bacon is crisp and crumbly. Remove from skillet and keep. Dredge liver in flour mixture, brown in skillet. Place liver in casserole, add leftover flour mixture to about 2 tablespoons bacon grease, stir and cook, add milk for gravy. Pour over liver slices, top with breadcrumbs and 1 tablespoon margerine, melted. Bake at 350' for 25 minutes.
