1 cup Milk
2 tablespoon Hot Chocolate Powder
2-3 Large Scoops Vanilla Ice Cream
1/8 cup Instant Chocolate Syrup
Whipped Topping
Miniature Marshmallows
Cocoa Powder (optional)
Pour milk into the blender and blend until frothy. (Just a few seconds)
Add the hot chocolate mix and mix well.
Blend in chocolate syrup. **
Add ice cream and blend well, making sure there are no lumps left in the bottom of the blender. This is not a really thick milkshake. If a thicker shake is desired, add more ice cream then blend again.
This recipe fills 1 tall glass or 2 small glasses. Top the shakes with whipped topping and marshmallows. Dust the top with cocoa powder, if desired.
** To make it easy to pour the chocolate syrup into the blender without making a mess, lightly spray the measuring cup with vegetable spray before pouring the syrup into it.
You can easily change the flavor of this shake by using different flavored ice creams. Chocolate mint, chocolate chip or even chocolate covered cherry ice cream would all taste great! Use your imagination to create your own signature shake.
