This week's recipe was submitted to us by 9 year old Danial in Apache Junction, Arizona.
Daniel's Spicy Meatloaf
Tools Needed:
1 - large bowl
1 - 1 cup measuring cup
paring knife
clean hands
loaf pan
cooking spray
potholders
Ingredients:
2 pounds lean ground beef
2 eggs
1 cup oatmeal
1 cup medium hot salsa
1 small chopped onion
dash or two each of salt and pepper
Instructions:
In large bowl dump meat, eggs, oatmeal, One handfull of onions (we use the childs hands to measure onion), mix together with hands until well mixed. Add salsa and mix in well with salt and pepper. Spray loaf pan with cooking spray. Scoop into loaf pan and pat down until level. Cook in hot oven (careful oven is hot) at 375 degrees for 45 minutes or till done
Prep time: 15 minutes
Serves: 4 to 6 people
