This week's recipe was submitted to us by 5 year old Lara in Las Cruces , New Mexico. Lara says, "These taste better than the usual rice crispie treats!". So easy to make...try them for yourself!
Peanutty Rice Crispie Treats
Tools needed:
1/2 cup
1 cup
wire wisk
rubber spatula
small pot
8 inch square baking mold
wax paper
Ingredients:
1/2 cup sugar (white or brown)
1/2 cup corn syrup
1/2 cup peanut butter
3 cups rice crispies
Instructions:
Mix first three ingredients in small pot and melt over low heat, constantly stirring. Mix in rice crispies with rubber spatula and
pour mix in baking pan lined with wax paper. Refrigerate for 2 hours and then cut in pieces.
Prep time: 10 minutes
Serves: 10 to 12
