This week's recipe was submitted to us by 6 year old Veronique in New Britain , Connecticut. Veronique's Mom says,
"Very easy and delicious. Veronique enjoyed mixing the pudding with the whisk. She was amazed how the pudding went from thin to thick so quickly. She even snuck a few banana slices (right in front of me!). We had fun!"
Easy Southern Banana Pudding
Tools needed:
2-qt serving bowl
knife
wooden spoon
liquid measuring cup
whisk
Ingredients:
3 cups cold milk
2 pkg (4 serving size) JELL-O Vanilla Flavor Instant Pudding & Pie Filling
30 NILLA Wafers
3 medium bananas, sliced
1 8-oz tub COOL WHIP Whipped Topping, thawed
Instructions:
Pour milk into large bowl. Add dry pudding mixes. Beat with wire whisk for 2 minutes or until well blended.
Let stand 5 minutes. Arrange half of the wafter on bottom and up side of 2-qt serving bowl. Top with layers
of half each of bananas and pudding. Repeat all layers. Cover with whipped topping. Refrigerate for 3 hours.
Store leftover dessert in refrigerator.
Prep time: 20 mins, plus refrigeration
Serves: approximately 14
