1/2 c Chilli sauce
1/2 ts Tobasco sauce
1/2 c Mayonnaise
1/2 ts Salt
1 c Garlic
1 ea Boiled egg, hard, chopped
1/2 ts Dry mustard
1 c Crab meat, drained
1 ts Worcestershire sauce
Mix all ingredients together and let sit overnight.
Canadian Herb Vegetable Dip
1 c mayonnaise
1 c Sour cream
1 lg Garlic clove peeled and finely chopped
1 tb Finely chopped green onion
1 tb Dijon mustard
Chopped fresh parsley to taste and for garnish
In a mixing bowl, thoroughly combine first 5 ingredients. Pour into serving
bowl, cover and chill until serving time. The flavor improves if this is
made ahead of time and gets to sit for awhile.
Banzai Peanut Sauce
2 tb Melted butter or peanut oil
3 ea Jalapeno, serrano or Thai
1 peppers, seeded and minced
2 ea Clove garlic, minced
1/2 c Coconut milk
2 tb Unsalted smooth peanut butte
2 tb Soy sauce
1 tb Lime juice
2 ts Sesame oil
1 ts Honey
1 ts Habanero sauce or
1 Favorite red hot pepper sauc
In a saucepan, add the melted butter, chili peppers and garlic, and saute
for 2 to 3 minutes. Stir in the coconut milk, beanut butter, soy sauce, lime
juice, sesame oil, honey and habanero sauce, and bring to a simmer. Remove
from the heat and transfer to a serving bowl. Serve with grilled chicken,
fish or lamb, or serve as a vegetable dip.
Mix all ingredients together and refrigerate 24 hours before serving. Serve
with fresh vegetables.
Creamy Dill and Garlic Dip
2 Garlic cloves, fine chop
1/4 c Buttermilk
3/4 c Light sour cream
2 tb Lemon juice
2 tb Fresh dill, chopped
Salt
Ground pepper, fresh
pinch Sugar
Whisk together all ingredients in bowl. Taste for seasoning - adding more
lemon juice and dill to taste. Use as a salad dressing or as a vegetable
dip.
Salmon Vegetable Dip
2 c Salmon, canned
8 oz Cream cheese -- softened
1 lb Sour cream
1 pk Knorr Vegetable Soup Mix
3 Green onions -- chopped
Flake salmon and combine with remaining ingredients. Refrigerate several
hours before serving. Serve with raw vegetables, crackers, chips, and bread.
Attractive served in hollowed-out round loaf of dark bread.
