These are easy to make and remind you of making the paper snowflakes, but you can eat these!
6 flour tortillas (6" ones), warmed
2 tsp vegetable oil
confectioners sugar
Fold the tortillas in half and in half again and do it the third time (this is why you want them warmed so they will fold). Cut small triangles in the folded and outside edges with kitchen shears. Unfold and brush both sides with oil. Place on a greased baking sheet and repeat with all tortillas. Bake at 400 degrees for 7 - 8 minutes or till lightly browned. Dust both sides of tortillas with confectioners sugar while warm. 6 servings

When I first heard of them I wasn't quite sure about them, but they are good, and I never thought of the honey addition, but bet that was good!

If you like honey you'll like puting it on these ,they were wonderful. Also these are good to make with older kids, they love seeing how the design comes out.

We love honey; in fact one of my nephews have just gotten into keeping bees, so I'm hopeing for some honey from him. A few months ago he and I were talking about having bees and he went ahead and got into it; I may still later, but right now my chickens are keeping me busy

We had chickens a long time ago when we lived up town, the chickens kept laying their eggs under the house so the kids had to go under the house to get them.We had a pen and coop for them but they kept getting out. Dh had a older freind that kept bees in fact dh help with them before we got married, but he would give us free honey. He passed away 13 years ago so we have had to buy it from local people around here that sales it in our local stores.

We have one coop for our egg layers, one coop that produces our baby chicks (just starting this one), and then we have free range guineas. Altogether we have around 100 chickens again; we have a coyote and raccoon problem! LOL In fact we are enlarging the baby producing pen right now to a 20 x 20 area. It will probably take us the most part of the week to get it done and I hope to have a newer coop finished for that one too soon.
Lots of fun!

Yes we do enjoy it even though as you know it is lot of work! LOL To keep with MM food topic, I'll tell you we originally started with the guineas and then got into the regular chickens for the eggs! DH can't eat the yolks so we use a lot of eggs as we use 2 egg whites in everything as 1 whole egg. So all my cats and dogs (13) get lots of hard boiled egg yolks!
