1 lb. extra lean ground round
1/2 cup raw rice
1/4 cup onion, chopped
1/4 tsp pepper
2 tbsp olive oil
2 (8oz) cans tomato sauce
1 cup water
Mix beef, rice, onion and seasonings. Form into balls. Fry in hot oil, turning often till brown. Add tomato sauce and water. Cover and simmer about 45 minutes. 4 servings
