2 pounds lean pork cubes
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp paprika
1/4 cup onion, minced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp salt
1 1/2 pounds sauerkraut, rinsed & drained
1 cup canned tomatoes
1/2 tsp caraway seeds
1/2 cup sour cream
Brown pork in hot oil in a heavy pot. Pour off fat. Add paprika, onion, and garlic and cook till onion is soft. Add salt, sauerkraut, tomatoes and caraway seeds. Cover. Simmer gently till meat is tender, about 3 hours. Add sour cream right before serving. 8 servings
