I'll have to dig out the turkey tender loins in the freezer; I just picked fresh zucchini today!

I'm just keeping my fingers crossed so far; it looks like the garden is starting off better this year. This is only the second and third year for some of the raised beds so they have a lot of catching up to do. The house we lived in Louisville the garden spot had been worked a good 25 years so it was wonderful, but my son that now has the house has turned in back into Grass!!!!

DH forgot to put the tin plates on the tomatoes and the birds ate the 2 that we have had thus far!

Oh that's horrible; especially when you're waiting for those first ones! I am using CD's this year instead of the tin plates. The ones that everybody sends you in the mail! They work great; I just drilled a hole in them and strung them with fishing line; they seem to work better and further because they reflect the sun so much more!

That is an excellant idea! I never thought about that. Next time I get one, I will have to keep it rather than put it in file 13.

When I first started I had several people saving theirs for me also so I could get started this past spring; just a thought for you.
