This is a 1987 BHG recipe; really good and I haven't seen anything like it since.

3 tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp sour cream
1/3 cup broken pecans
3 small bananas
1 slightly beaten egg
1/2 cup ranulated sugar
1/4 cup oil
1 1/2 cups packaged pancake mix

In a small bowl stir together brown sugar and sour cream and stir in pecans. Set aside. Mash bananas. In a amedium owl tir together egg, granulated sugar, oil and mashed banana till well blended. Add pancake mix, stirring just till moistened. Grease muffin cups or line with paper bake cups filling 2/3 full of batter. Drop 1 tsp of the pecan mixture on top of each muffin. Bake at 400 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes or till golden. Makes 12 muffins.
