This is good over pound cake!
2 teaspoons cornstarch
2 tablespoons water
1 cup whipping cream
1/4 cup sugar
2 tablespoons bourbon
Stir together cornstarch and 2 tablespoons water.Bring cream and sugar to a boil in a heavy saucepan. Reduce heat to low and whisk in cornstarch mixture till cream mixture thickens. Remove from heat and stir in bourbon. Makes 1 1/2 cups
