Buffalo Chicken Dip

The recipe is very easy:

2 rectangular packages of cream cheese
2 large cans of chicken breast (all white meat)
Buffalo wing sauce or Frank's Red Hot sauce
Ranch dressing (you can also use blue cheese- both are good)
Monterey Jack/Cheddar cheese, shredded
Fritos Scoops (Fritos work the best with this dip)

Spread the cream cheese on the bottom of a large pie plate or corning
Ware dish. Drain the chicken and mix with the wing sauce (use enough to get
It well coated- the more you use the hotter it will be). Spread the
Chicken mixture over the cream cheese. Pour on ranch dressing (use enough to
Cover the top but don't make it too thick, maybe half a bottle). Cover with
shredded cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-30 minutes, until bubbly
Along the sides and cheese is melted.

You can also cut it in half if there will be fewer people. It is very easy,
and you don't really need to measure anything- just use enough sauce
and dressing so it looks good to you.

This sounds so good!

BTW, Are the Fritos low carb too? ;) LOL!

Are you on some type of low-carb plan? I am going back on mine when we move. Thanks for the recipes!

Sounds really good and different than most dips. I'm going to print this one out for a future party!

Sounds delicious! I think to make this low-carb, I would have to sub veggies instead of chips. But, either way, this is definately worth trying!

I have to agree with you and Tami on this...to make it truly low-carb, the chips don't work. I think I'd use either veggies like you said, or toasted low-carb tortilla slices. (I have instructions for that somewhere around here....if anyone's interested, I'll try to find it.) The low-carb tortillas have good fiber content, too! :)

When I was LC-ing, I used to live for low carb tortillas. I didnt really eat any other form of bread products.

I enjoy the law-card tortilas too. I realize I cannot eat as many as I want on a low-carb diet, but the few I do have are great as a wrap or something.
