See, Now I was thinking that saltines and ice cream sounds really weird!

If you like p-nut butter and like sliced onions, try it. It is good!

My hubby likes peanut butter and cheese also, and I never heard of anyone else doing that! He does his with bread now, but he has told me it orignated when he was a kid. There were eight kids in the family and not a lot of food in the house. He said the combination started when all he could find was peanut butter and american cheese; so he invented the peanut butter/cheese sandwich with the cheese as the "bread".

I know I have some weird combinations, but I guess they must not seem weird to me because right now I can't think of any. Will return when I do!

I don't like peanut butter, so that may be a factor. I do love onions.

I also like sardines and whole wheat crackers. I'll have to ask my kids what they won't watch me. LOL

I still can't think of my weird combos; guess they just aren't weird to me! LOL

I used to think this one was though, hot coffee with a scoop of vanilla or chocolate ice cream in it; but with all the coffee shops today and fancy coffees that doesn't seem too weird any longer!:p

I also love peanut butter & banana sandwiches.

I used to eat peanut butter and sugar sandwiches when I was a kid and every once in a while...I still crave one.

I LOVE McDonald's hot fudge sundae and french fries---the chocolate and salty thing--YUMMY!!

French fries and mayo is good too..

Did you guys know that they make ketsup flavored potato chips??? At least around here they do. Tastes like a really crispy fry with ketsup!! Very addicting! ;)

KLCRN, when I was in college we used to go to Wendy's for a Frosty and fries. YUM!
Do you happen to know what brand the ketchup potato chips are? I'll have to look for those.

Another favorite sandwich of mine is the one my great-aunts used to make us for lunch every Saturday:
tuna salad made with Miracle Whip, on Wonder Bread (so far so good, right?) with a lot of BUTTER on the bread. I can feel my arteries slamming shut just thinking about it.

Hi barb!!

Next time I run to the store, I will have to remember to check out the brand--I'm brain farting right now!! LOL

I knew someone who used to put butter on their PB sandwiches--not too bad.....

I think the brand of chips is either "Herrs" or "Wise" I have seen them here too.

I like a bologna & cheese on white bread with light mayo on 1/2, yellow mustard on the meat side & potato chips on the mayo side Love it!

I also like PB & sugar or PB & marshmallow creme sandwiches or a bagel with cream cheese & spinkle cream chees w/ cinnamon & sugar & I throw on a few raisins if I have 'em... Yummy!

I know this is weird but good-
I have always liked, as a snack carrots dipped in mustard plain 'ol yellow mustard its the sweet of the carrot stick with the tart of the mustard, really cool in the summer.

My younger kids (7 & 9) eat "mus-chup" on just about everything. (i.e. french fries, bacon, jellied toast) This is a combination of ketchup & mustard they came up with. el-yucko!

I'm not sure if this would be considered weird or not but last night I really had a hankerin' for garlicky popcorn. I popped up some popcorn and poured some melted butter over it and sprinkled garlic salt and garlic powder on it. Very garlicky. Mmmm. Now that I'm thinking about it again, I want some more. Next time I make it, I think I'm going to crush some fresh garlic cloves into the melting butter. Is that weird?

First, welcome to MM Tami! I hope to see you around. Click onto the "New Posts" at the top of the page to see the active threads and meet some of the other neat people here.

I think it used to be VERY strange to put weird flavors with popcorn. It seems that today a person can buy all kinds of flavored popcorn. Does anyone know what some of the flavors that popcorn comes in? I personally haven't tried garlic though.

My dd's think it is so weird that I eat PB on pancakes.

I was once visiting a friend and when her husband came home from work, she gave him two mustard and pineapple sandwiches to eat. That is the weirdest combination I ever saw.

I live in Georgia and my daughter likes ketchup on everything so I bought her some of the ketchup potato chips at Walmarts, they are called Herr's Heinz Ketchup potato Chips. She didn't like them and neither did anyone else in the family so that is why I still have the bag. I hate to throw them away so I keep thinking if someone wants chips bad enough they will eat them.

Guess two of the weirdest things I eat is lemon sandwiches and cheeseburgers with a fried egg on top.

What exactly does your lemon sandwich consist of? Doesn't sound too bad, but can't imagine it on bread! LOL

Hey catlover,

You get two pieces of bread and a lemon. Cut the lemon in half, squeeze the juice all over the bread, sprinkle with salt, put the bread together like a sandwich and eat. I love lemons and salt so this works really good for me. My daughter puts sugar on her's yuck!!

Does anyone put vinegar on their french fries? We use malt vinegar.
And I like pretzels with my ice cream.
And I like peanut butter with cheese.

Does anyone mind mixing the milk in the bottom of their glass with water or soda as the next drink, without rinsing out the glass first?

How about warm tap water?

On the french fires; well... I have seen in the stores vinegar potato chips so guess that one isn't too unusal.

Pretzels with your ice cream:eek: ; first time I've ever heard that one! LOL

Peanut butter with cheese; my hubby loves that; can't say I agreee! LOL

Now on the milk in the botom of the glass thing; I've down that before and not thought anything of it; I was just being lazy...I don't have a dishwasher besides me; didn't want to create more dirty dishes! LOL

Warm tap water; NO WAY! Our water comes from our own drilled well OR a hand pump well we have in the woods. The drilled well water has so much sulphur in it that it is barely drinkable even when it is cold! No way you could drink that stuff warm! LOL In fact we now go to the water fill station in town (tells you something about the well water all around here) and get our drinking water. You get 100 gallons for $1.00; much cheaper than buying those gallon containers for 79 cents each!;)

ellenmelon I don't mean to sound rude but Who taught you to eat? Those are some really weird combinations. To weird for me. Couldn't do the vinegar and french fries, tried the potato chips they came out with and no one would eat them so ended up throwing them out. Couldn't do the pretzels and ice cream but now my daughter might like that one, she loves pretzels and she loves ice cream. Couldn't even look at the peanut butter and cheese without running away. And as far as not rinsing the glass out or warm water, NO no no. Couldn't do that one either. Reckon some of the weird foods we are seeing depends on what part of the country you grew up in.
Have a great day.

MOuse, I've seen it done at Long John Silvers. They serve malt vinegar with their fish and chips. I personally am not a vinegar fan.

Vinegar on fries is even better than ketchup!
And you don't need salt on your fries that way.
But I don't like the malt vinegar, just the plain white one on fries.

I do like the malt vinegar with my Long Johns and Captain Dee's but on the fish, I eat all the chips before I pour the vinegar on my plate. Ok I am somewhat of a picky eater I reckon. When we go to a buffet I like to keep my foods seperate but hubby will just fill his plate putting other food on top of what he already has, yuck. A lot of times I even eat one food at a time and start on the next food when I finish the first, like potatoes then meat then beans or peas or whatever. I have been trying to get out of this habit and am doing better but sometimes I forget and go back to my way of eating.

the vinegar on fries is like a seashore fries/Long John Silvers- east coast type of thing I think it's not bad. I do like the salt & vinegar chips on occasion.
the flavor of the day at our local QueenCity Creamery & coffee bar today is PB Pretzel frozen custard I have'nt tried it but it is a popular flavor.
I dodn't think I could do PB & Cheese.

We have a CiCi's here in W MD, they have the mac-n-cheese pizza too, I have only had one bite it was ok but not something I would have a hankering for, but the spicey pepperoni the one w/ the white sauce is soooo yummy that keeps me going back.
