Okay you know the jars of candied apple rings you see in the grocery, and as a garnish in restuarants? I'm looking for how to prepare them at home; has anyone ever seen a recipe for them, I would like to have it if you know of one! Thanks!

I'm not sure if this is what you are looking for or not since I have never really eaten one.

I'm not sure either, but will give your recipe a try; it does sound somewhat like them ,but I think the ones I've seen in the stores are a lot more spicy than this, but worth a try and maybe we'll like this better than the store bought! Thanks!

I've heard of them, but I have never made them. Yummy, your recipe sounds similar to the one that I have seen.

Here is a recipe I came across; it isn't spicy at all, but still good!
Cranberry Apples
Cook 1 cup sugar and 1 cup water for 5 minutes. Add 2 cups cranberries and cook till skins burst. Strain cranberries and juice. Put enough juice and water to make 2 cups in a large skillet. Add 12 cored, peeled and sliced medium cooking apples. Simmer covered about 15 minutes turning apples once or twice an baste often with the syrup. Cool. Serve warm or cold.(You can add thew cranberries back in on top of the apples.

I know that they are but I haven't seen any for years and years.
They are really cinnamon-y hot, right?
I will look to see if I can find anything for ya. :)

Yes they usually are a cinnamon type flavor. I like them with my holiday meals. My great aunt used to always have them for Thanksgiving.
