1 onion, chopped
2 tbsp flour
2 tbsp butter
1 bay leaf
1 clove garlic
1 cup water
2 pounds turtle meat, diced
1/4 cup sherry
Cook onion in butter and blend in flour. Add remaining ingredients and simmer 30 minutes. Serves 6
