What cute little things have stayed in your mind that your children have made as they were growing up about food?
One thing I remember is my DS#1 always called the parsley decorating a plate "trees". He always asked why I don't put "trees" on his plate like when we eat at a restaurant. Don't you have some to share?:D

Excellant topic.
My children as well as my sister called broccoli, trees. My DH told me that at the dinner table he was required to say, "I don't prefer that" instead of using the word hate. He could say the word prefer and instead said, "I don't preserve that. lol

We were talking about asparagus the other night at our dinner table when my DD asked what it looked like. My DS broke out into this explination..." Do you remember what broccoli looks like? You know, it looks like little trees". (DD) "Oh yeah, I know". (DS)" Well, asparagus looks like thick weeds and tastes like them too!" (DD)"Oh, me no like sparagoose" :D
No need to wonder why she loves noodles!?!

Looks like we all have "tree" thinking kids! LOL
When my son was two, he was going to an in-house daycare. The daycare mom, Chris, was making crackers with tuna on them for a snack. My son thought they were PEANUT BUTTER crackers. When he took a big bite of his he nearly threw up trying to swallow it. He turned to her and said, "I don't like your peanut butter, Chris!"
I still laugh my head off every time I think of that! :)

Luke has been asking me lately, "What 'gredients is this, Mom?" He wants to know the name of the dish.

Cosby's version was just like Art Linkletter's. Art made several appearances on that one too.

We held out as long as we could on the DVD thing. We have well over 100 VHS tapes. Now I'm trying to transfer them over, and they already have another new thing out!

I can't remember what exactly it is called, but when we were looking at DVD's one day in walmart there were movies on these smaller things right next to the DVD's!~
