Would anyone want to post recipes for meals prepared by church ladies for dinners, food festivals, luncheons?

I'll start-

MACARONI and CHEESE
Ingredients:
elbow macaroni, cooked, drained and cooled
cheddar cheese, shredded
butter or margarine
1 can evaporated milk
milk
salt
pepper
These ingredients will need adjusted for the amount you want to make.
This is for 1 baking dish of mac and cheese

Spray your baking dish with Pam or similar spray.
Place a layer of elbows into the dish, then add a layer of cheese, a little salt and a little pepper. Repeat until the dish is full.
Dot some butter on the top.
Mix the canned milk and some milk and pour it over the top until you can see the milk. Bake at 350* until hot and bubbly.

I'd post the name of the church this recipe comes from but I can't remember the name.

Other recipes you could post are for pierogies, cakes, cookies, haluski, the recipes are endless. If you can, please give credit tho the church and/or church ladies who make it.

Coll, what a wonderful topic idea! Who doesn't love potluck dinners?

Since it is late, I will come back and give more later.

The best and easiest potluck dessert is dump cake. In a 13X9 inch baking pan, spread 1 can pineapple tidbits and cherries in syrup or juices without draining. Spread out. The, spread out 1 box yellow cake mix. C hop up 1 stick of butter evenly over the top.Bake in a 350 degree oven until hot and bubbly.

That is similar to how I make my baked beans, except I don't add peppers and chili powder to mine. It's easy and tasty.

I have so many ways to cook baked beans that I could make a cookbook just out of baked bean recipes! Which one I use all depends on what function I'm cooking for, or who I'm cooking for, and sometimes just depends on which ingredients I have on hand.

I also add a little molasses to mine as well.

Here's one that I bring to potlucks more often than not.

Chicken Tetrazinni

1 whole chicken
water
1/2 stick butter
1 5-oz box vermicelli
1 cup chopped celery
1 cup onion, chopped
1 cup grated cheddar cheese
2 10-oz cans cream of chicken soup
Dash of garlic powder

Boil chickin in water until thouroughly cooked. Take chicken and debone. In the water, cook the vermicelli until al dente. Drain. Saute celery and onion in butter. Add to vermicelli. Add cheese, soups, and garlic. Add chicken. Stir. Pour into a large casserole dish. May add grated cheese on top if desired. Bake in a 350 degree oven until hot and bubbly.

Here's a salad that I like to bring to picnics and dinners, in the summer

1 cup mustard vinaigrette (made with red wine vinegar, olive oil, brown mustard & pepper to taste)
1 large onion, diced
5 tomatoes, diced
3 large cucumbers, diced
1 cup black olives, pitted

Mix gently in a large bowl. Refrigerate a few hours before serving for best flavor.
