This makes wonderful toast!
1 1/4 cups water (70 - 80 degrees)
2 tbsp butter, softened
1/2 cup old fashioned oats
3 tbsp sugar
2 tbsp nonfat dry powdered milk
1 1/4 tsp salt
3 cups all purpose flour
2 tsp active dry yeast
1/2 cup chopped pecans
In bread machine place first eight ingredients in order of your manufacturer's directions. Select basic bread setting. Choose crust color and 1 1/2 pound loaf size. Bake according to bread machine instructions ( check dough after 5 minutes and add 1 to 2 tbsp of water or flour if needed). Add the pecans when you hear your audible signal to do so. Makes 1 loaf
