What do you have planned for Father's Day? Does Dad do all the grilling? Maybe you go out to dinner? Perhaps he gets his favorite meal that night?

We don't do much that day. Since we live out in the woods and the DS's both live in another town now we don't see a lot of them with their work schedules and all. So DH and I just enjoy the day doing what we want like every other day!

I usually prepare all DHs faves on his day. This year will peobably be rib eyes, grilled outside, baked potato, and green beans. If I am really nice, I will make him a cherry pie. Since there is no rain in the mountains, no fresh cherries.

I have 4 Nesco roasters. They can steam, roast or bake. Maybe I can do them in there.

Here you go Barbszy!
Boiling Lobster Tails Boil a pot of water large enough for all the tails to float in, add 1 tsp salt for each quart of water. Drop the tails in the boiling water and cook for about 1 minute per oz thawed (so 10 0z of tails needs to cook for 10 minutes). If you are cooking a lot of tails, add a minute or two on to the total time.
Cooking Lobster Tails in the Oven Lobster tails can be baked or broiled in the oven. To cook thawed lobster in the oven, set the oven to 400 degrees F. Brush the tails with butter and bake for 8 to 10 minutes. If broiling, place the tails 4 or 5 inches from the heat and broil for 2 – 5 minutes. When broiling keep a very close eye on them so that they don’t burn on the tops.
Cooking Lobster Tails On The Grill Oil the grill to keep the lobsters from sticking. Put the grill on medium heat. Brush the lobster tails with butter and place on the grill. Make sure that the tails do not burn – if there are any flames on the grill move the lobster away from it. Grill on each side for 4-5 minutes. Take care not to overcook your lobster or it will be rubbery and tasteless. Lobster is cooked when it is no longer transparent.

I've always like to fix dh's favorite meal-or at least something I know he really likes. I try to get him King Crab Legs if we can't go out to eat. My dd will probably fix something her dh likes since I'm working-but possibly I'll be able to afford them going out for dinner after I get home from work and maybe I'll be able to take dh out for lunch and a movie; something to think on and hope for.....

Pam, I just noticed that your DGD is named Autumn. I have a DD named Summer and she used to have a friend named Autumn in HS and they got teased a lot! LOL

When I was pregnant with Summer, I totally made up the name. I had never even heard of it. DH told me to get a middle name that flowed well with it. So, I named her Summer Capricè (pronounced Capree). Now, I hear Summer everywhere! I have heard a few Capree's, but they are always spelled differently. Now it's my DGD's name.
I wonder if anyone has ever heard of a person named Spring or Winter?
