Ok I can't take credit, but it's a great idea. My 3 and 22 month old love it. I saw it from the show Ham on the Streets on Food Network. Originally though he did it in a cast iron skillet over an open fire. I adapted it so my kids could make it in the oven.

layer graham crackers in a baking dish
sprinkle with miniature marshmallows and milk chocolate chips or broken choclate bar.
repeat layer
bake at 350 or so until marshmallows and chocolate is melted.

It's pretty good! Enjoy;)

Where was this recipe when I went on vacation a week and a half ago? LOL The forest was closed in the mountains and no camp fires allowed. We always have smores and I was trying to figure a way to still have them.

BTW, I have never seen that program. Is it good?
Thanks!

That would be a great way to have them in the winter time too when we have too much snow on the ground! Thanks for the idea!

I like it because I am always looking for ways to spoil my GKs.

The program is absolutely hilarious. If you like Good Eats than you will definitely like this one. It is on right after Good Eats on I think it is wed. nights. The guy's name is George Duran. He basically goes out on the streets and cooks for people and asks them questions about what the topic is for the episode. My husband and I tivo it.

I also did the smore's in foil packets with the kids and put them on the grill after we cooked dinner. They made the packets and I put them on the grill. We did it with my two sets of neighbors six kids in all. from 20 months to 10 yr old. They all had a blast.

Now you have me wanting to watch it. I LOVE Good Eats! I have time in the summer (something I do not have in the fall or spring) so I'll be able to catch it.
