This is one of my DHs faves!
3 pounds chicken pieces with bone and skin on
1/4-1/5 cup balsamic vinegar
2-3 gloves garlic, diced
1 onion, diced
1 t pepper
1 can chicken broth
2 T flour
In a large baking pan, drizzle the olive oil over the bottom of the pan. Place the garlic, onion, and chicken pieces in the bottom. Drizzle the balsamic vinegar and pepper over the top. Bake in 400 degree oven for one hour or until the chicken is completely cooked. If it browns too fast, cover with foil. Take the chicken pieces out and onto a platter. Put the pan over a burner. Add broth and flour and whick over low heat until you get a gravy. Pour the gravy over the chicken and serve.
