To freeze recipes for later, line your baking dish with foil. When the food is frozen you can lift the foil right out of the dish and wrap the food or place it in a plastic zip lock freezer bag and return to the freezer. This saves space in your freezer, but the biggest plus of the whole thing is you have your baking dishes to use again.

I do this when I am in Carlsdad. However, since I live in an RV during school, I literally have no freezer or fridge space. This is an excellant idea.

I tried just using extra heavy duty foil to rewrap for freezer storage, but didn't like the results (someone else moving things in the freezer and wasn't careful and the foil tore) so the plastic freezer bags is defintely the way to go!

For that reason, I sometimes wrap the food in foil if I need to heat it in the foil, then place it in a large zipper bag to freeze.
