Recipe from my German SIL
1 1/2 lbs.ground beef
3/4 cup rolled oats
1 cup milk
3 tbsp onion, chopped
1 1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
Barbecue Sauce
1 tbsp worcestershire sauce
2 tbsp sugar
3 tbsp vinegar
1/2 cup water
1 cup catsup
6 tbsp onion, chopped
Mix all ingredients and make medium sized patties. Brown in small amount of cooking oil and set aside. Mix the sauce. Place browned patties in baking pan and pour sauce over them. Bake for 1 hour at 350 degrees. Serve on buns.
