2 pounds fresh green beans, cut into bite size pieces
4 slices bacon, diced
1 large onion, diced
2 tbsp flour
5 medium potatoes, cut into small pieces
6 cups water
1 1/2 tsp thyme
1 chciken bouillon cube
Fry bacon pieces in a large pot till done; add onions once bacon is cooked. Cook till onions are transparent, add flour and stir till well combined. Add green beans, potatoes and water. Stir well, add bouillon cube and thyme. Cook on low heat till beans and potatoes are tender. Great with a salad and hard roll.
