New Orleans cooking

Finally sat down and looked through "New Orleans By The Bowl" cookbook, I've tried a couple of things in it that turned out really well. Looking forward to winter and cold weather to make several more recipes I have tagged that really look interesting. We don't do well with soups and stews until it is cold outside ( just because we don't have ac) so anxiously waiting for cooler weather! Have anyone here tried this cookbook? If you like gumbos, soups, stews and Jambalayas this is a good one!
