4 medium red bell pepper (1 1/2 pounds), seeded and chopped
2 tbsp dry white wine

3/4 cup drained canned navy beans
1/2 cup green onions, sliced thin
1/4 cup plus 2 tbsp shredded fresh basil leaves
1 tbsp minced fresh oregano
1 tbsp chopped ripe olives

6 oz rotini pasta, uncooked

1/4 cup plus 2 tbsp shredded Asiago cheese
1 tbsp pine nuts, toasted

Combine red bell pepper and wine in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat and simmer about 3 minutes. Stir in beans and next 4 ingredients and bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes. Uncover and simmer 20 minutes stirring occasionally. Cook pasta accordingto pkg. directions, but omit the salt and margarine. Drain well, Put the pasta on individual plates and top with pepper mixture, cheese, and pine nuts. Makes 6 cups
