2 cups vanilla ice cream
1/2 cup cooked pumpkin (you can use canned pumpkin, but not the pie filling)
3/4 cup milk
1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
dash of nutmeg
whipped cream

Put all ingredients except the whipped topping into a blender. Cover and blend on high speed about 15 seconds or till smooth. Top each serving with the whipped topping. 4 servings

Ok that's a recipe I would not thought of to put together, have you tried it?

Yes we have tried it, I always seem to use it more in the fall, I guess just the fall pumpkin thing! lol I like to use fresh cooked pumpkin, but for other times of the year the canned works fine too. I love the jello brand pumpkin spice pudding mix which is only available in the fall so last year I went on a look for something with sort of the same taste.
