DH and I plan on renewing our vows in October. I want to have a special cake made. This will be an interesting celebration of 30 years as it will be held at a fan club outing of a NASCAR event with a track minister conducting the ceremony. I want to know if there are any sites or places I can go to get a picture of the cake of my dreams?

I am wanting a NASCAR wedding cake topper. (Yes, they make them!) Since my driver's car is red, while, and blue, I am wanting to have the cake while with blue bows, and red roses. I want a diecast of Bobby's (my driver) race car at the bottom of the cake. I would LOVE to get a visualization of this dream cake if it is possible.

When I planned my wedding 5 yrs ago. I used the site www.knot.com (http://www.knot.com). The site is all about weddings. I got my cake done at a local grocerystore that had it's own bakery. They did a fantastic job.

I plan on having someone local making the cake. I guess I am going to have to go the route of having an artist draw my cake to show the bakery what I want. Thanks!

Just wondered what type of cake did you end of doing?

Thanks! I thought it turned out pretty good. The only thing is that the bride and groom were porcelain. They were heavy and kept falling until they fell to pieces. Since they wanted to show it on the spotlight, the hot light made the icing soft and the toppers slid off several times.

Oh what a shame! They would have been reminders in a china cabinet!
