Tuna Casserole

3 cups elbow macaroni, cooked and drained (al dente as it will absorb the fluids in the casserole.)
1 can tuna, drained
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 small container of frozen peas
1 small onion, diced
Salt and pepper to taste
3 cups grated cheddar cheese
1/4 cup milk

In a mixing bowl, mix together all ingredients except 1/2 the cheese. Pour into a 13X9 inch casserole. Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top. Bake in a 350 degree oven until hot and bubbly, about 30-35 minutes.

Several years ago one of my neighbors sons decided he loved tuna casserole, but... not his mom's! So he tasted mine one day and really liked it and asked for my recipe which I gave him. Ever since I have collected any tuna casserole recipes for him and he has a book of just tuna casseroles! So I will print this one out for him, thanks!

We will be in Louisville tomorrow for a graduation party so I hope to go early enough that maybe I can drop it off at his mom's house; if not I'll mail it. Will tell him the "creator" wants to know what he thought of it! LOL
