How to enter:
Find the eighth (8th) ingredient listed in the recipe for Green Bean Stew. Begin your search here (http://www.momsmenu.com/cgi-bin/sefer.cgi). When you have the ingredient, send an email to editor@momsmenu.com with "Recipe Contest" in the subject line and your answer in the main text. These rules must be adhered to or the submission will be discarded.

One winner will be drawn from all correct entries who follow the directions listed above and have a minimum of six (6) posts on the Forums between February 2, 2009 and Monday, March 2, 2009. The posts must be significant, in other words, simple posts like "Just saying Hi", won't be counted. The winner will have three (3) days to respond to the winning notification email.

I tried entering & it sent email saying I wasnt a member??? :( But I am ....or at least I was.

This recipe sounds like something I would like. I like green beans & potatoes so I will probably like this too. I like all the ingredients in it.

When it says you have to have 6 posts on the forum, does it mean for Mom's Menu forums only?

It clearly states how many posts are needed and through what time period these posts are counted. Posts made prior to February 2, 2009 and after March 2nd, 2009 WILL NOT be counted.

The purpose of requiring six (6) posts for this giveaway is to reward our frequent posters, to entice the return of past posters who are still registered to join in the forums again, and to invite new users to our community.

The purpose of requiring "Recipe Contest" in the subject line of your submission email is for sorting purposes.

:D Thanks for the info. I think I'm a winner!!! WoooHooo!!! I hope I replied right! Cant wait to get my cookbooks. I have a collection and cant wait to read these & try some new recipes!
