Anyone grilling out now? Have an interesting new recipe to share? I'm getting the want to have something cooked out on the grill even though it is winter time. But with the weather being so warm it seems like a good time to tackle it! Have a good one to share?

Grilling as in BBQ ?
The best thing you can do to make a steak that little bit tender without marinating for hours is to sprinkle a little Worcestershire sauce (only a tablespoon on each one) over it and leave for 15 mins (usually the time it takes the bbq to warm and things to be ready) then cook.
Works for pan frying to.

We grilled out on New Year's for DH's birthday. We grilled rib-eyes with garlic powder, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce.
I like taking a ton of boneless chicken and grill them all. I put BBQ sauce on 1/3 of them. I make chicken quesadillas on another third that was grilled, and on the last third I make Poppy Seed Chicken casserole.

How about fish?
On a large square of alfoil coat fish with melted butter and sprinkle with ground pepper and salt, place some lemon slices on the whole or fish fillets and bbq for approx 20 mins (depends on fish size) or until cooked.
Can also do this without foil wrapping and just carefully turn over when ready. (defrosted frozen fish would work to if not already coated)
Basil pesto is nice spread on a steak or chicken before bbqing.
Par boil potatoes or stweet potato slices, coat in olive oil and your fave premixed seasoning and bbq.
As above for pumpkin in the skin.
Don't forget corn cobs in buttered foil.
When steak/chicken is cooked pop a dob of garlic or herb butter on top to melt into the meat and juices.
I'll have to have a think on it, maybe it'll be something new .... maybe not LOL

Thanks for the ideas Bilby! One of really hadn't thought about is the pumpkin! Really like that idea, but pumpkin season is over for us so will have to wait till next fall for that one. Wonder though if using pumpkin puree in something else(to warm it up) might work? Hmmm, going to have to think about that one some; thanks again!
