1 - 9" deep dish pie crust
1/2 cup sugar
3 tbsp flour
3/4 tsp cinnamon
1/8 tsp salt
6 cups apples, peeled and sliced thin
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1/3 cup caramel topping
Crumb Topping
1 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup rolled quick oats
1/2 cup butter
Combine first three ingredients of the crumb topping and then cut in the butter. Set aside. Stir together sugar, flour, cinnamon, salt, and then add the apples. Put this in pie shell and sprinkle with reserved crumb mixture. Place pie on cookie sheet and cover edges with foil. Bake at 375 degrees for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake another 25 minutes. Remove from oven and sprinkle with pecans and drizzle with caramel.
