Homemade Taco Seasoning

If you run out of taco seasoning or just want to save some money on those mixes; this works great and much less expensive than the pre made store mixes

Taco Seasoning

Combine
1 tbsp dried minced onion
4 1/2 tsp chili powder
1 tbsp garlic powder
2 tsp paprika
1 tsp ground cumin

It is much cheaper to make your own; this one and lots of other "mixes". If you don't want to make your own; just buying your spices at a bulk store is much cheaper than in the jars or cans at the grocery. Bay leaves is an example, I just got an amount like you would find in a can from the spice aisle in the grocery for 12 cents at the natural food market in their bulk section.
