This is great! You take a bundt or angel food cake pan. Put the bottom of the ear of corn in the center hole. This keeps it steady. Start cutting the corn kernals off the cob from the top down with a sharp knife. The hole in the center keeps the corn steady for cutting and the bowl (where the cake is made) catches all the kernals and milk! No mess! gotta love it!

I will have to try this next time. My younger daughter can't eat the corn on the cob. She wears braces. That is a no no!!! She loves fresh corn.

Cooked, follow the above link and come over and introduce yourself so others here can get to know you!
Never thought of using a bundt pan or such; I do use just a paring knife though, but the using the pan to catch it all sounds like a lot less messy way to catch it all; will have to try that, thanks!

We prefer to eat it off the cob too, but I also freeze it and make soups.
