We've had kebobs and chucks or slices as in fruit salads. Those other recipes sound terrific! While I have my GKs, I may try a couple of them as they LOVE watermelon.

We usually just chunk it up and make it nice and cold in the frig, then eat it. :D :D
Another great way for adult:
Cut the top off, stick the neck of a bottle of Absolute vodka down into the watermelon and let is drain into the watermelon. Sit bottle and watermelon into the frig. Let sit for at least a day--2 or 3 days is ok, too. ;) Slice into chunky pieces and eat--be careful. It's potent and you won't know it. lol!!

I would have never thought to do that. I bet that would be good to do at an adult summer party.

We used to do that back in our early married , no kids life! LOL The management we lived in let a large group of us close the pool early and invite for $1.00 each, adults. The $1.00 each paid for the watermelon and the booze and of course several kegs of beer! Sure brings back memories of great pool parties when I COULD wear a bikini! LOL
I don't care for watermelon much, but DH loves it. We usually now a days do the same thing just cold! I have tried watermelon pickles before and they weren't bad.

Nothing fancy here, just slice, dice and eat.
The seedless ones are pretty good even if they are a little dearer

If you can get your hands on some Syrian or Armenian cheese (it's wrapped up in a twist and has the consistency of mozzarella but with a stronger, saltier flavor), break it up into "strings" and serve it with watermelon chunks. The sweet & salty combo is fabulous.

Cheese and watermelon ..... those are 2 things I'd never have thought of putting together, might just have to try it if I can find the proper cheese

I would nver have thought to put those together either. But when I go back to Costco or Sams will see if I can find the cheese.
