When you use your slow cooker/crockpot, what are the dishes you like to make? Please share your recipes with us! This is a multiple choice poll.

I cook mostly roast (both beef and pork), pinto beans, stews, chicken cacciatore, and others.

I make spaghetti sauce in my roaster oven (on the slow-cooking setting). I don't own an actual Crock-Pot since the roaster oven can be used in this manner and others. I wanted the more versatile appliance.
I also make pot roast, baked beans, hot dogs for parties (just add a little water to the bottom of the pan, put in the hot dogs, and cook for a couple of hours & you are ready for the party!) and some stew/casserole type dishes.

I cook mostly pork, chicken and beef in my slowcooker.
My fave thing in the slow cooker is roast beef.
And since we are on the subject of slow cooking, any one have a recipe for scalloped potatoes? I have a seven qt. slow cooker and volunteered myself for scalloped potatoes for a party.

Coll, you should add that question to its own thread so that I can add it to the newsletter for next weekend. You have time for members to comment on it. I've seen some recipes, but I've never actually made it myself so I cannot vouch for how well it will turn out.
We use our crockpot for just about anything. I actually prefer meat cooked in a crockpot because it always comes out very tender.

Tonight, we are having pinto beans that will be cooked in my crockpot. Unlike most people, I use my crockpot more in the summer since the RV gets SO hot. The crockpot doesn't seem to heat up the RV like the stove and oven.
