This is great to serve with stale old bread!
Bread Pudding
4 beaten eggs
2 1/4 cups milk
1/2 cup sugar
1 T vanilla
4 cups bread cubes
1/3 cup raisins (optional)
In a bowl, beat together eggs, milk, sugar, and vanilla. In an ungreased 2 qt square baking dish, toss together bread and cubes raisins. Pout egg mixture evenly over egg mixture. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 40-45 or until knife inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool slightly.

No problem. The cool thing about bread pudding is that you can add nuts, use any type bread (including old sweet breads from breakfasts), or even add other things such as nuts.
