2 cups ketchup
1 cup brown sugar, packed
3 tbsp worcestershire sauce
2 tsp dry mustard
1 cup Jim Beam Bourbon Whiskey
4 tbsp cider vinegar
4 tbsp soy sauce
1/2 tsp ground cayenne pepper
dash liquid smoke, to taste, optional
Combine all ingredients in 2 quart saucepan. Bring to a boil over high heat and stir occasionally. Reduce heat to low and simmer uncovered till thickened while stirring occasionally.
Makes about 3 cups.
