Hi Everyone,

I bought 2 small bookcases and put 1 on each side of big window in kitchen to display my cookbooks. Really are cute and looks great!

The top of the bookcase I have my small cd player.

Ok, Now I'm really jealous!! I will have some space above my cupboards in our new place. I've been thinking of keeping a few of my cookbooks up there.
Basically my cookbooks will be contained in a tub shoved into a closet. :o

Hi,

I was just thinking for ones to have a cool look. Display your favorite cookbooks on top of your counter top.

I also bought some cool cookie jars and they are displayed on top of my refrigerator (cute santa and snowman). I finally found a pillsbury dough boy cookie jar but I don't store cookies in it, instead I put extra tea bags in it or in the winter time put my instant oat packets.

I also used my old tea jar and have it under the kitchen sink and it holds my cooking utensils for spatulas, wooden spoons etc. I then have some canning jars under there to store the other things so they are all nice and organized.

When we remodeled our kitchen about 12 years ago or so we bought a pull down cookbook rack that you mount under cabinet and that is the handiest thing on earth.

I have a country kitchen, so I have some wood recipe boxes.

I have a shelf above my oven where I display a few cookbooks. The rest fit into the space between the microwave and the wall.

A few live in the cupboard.
I also collect teapots and have a few shelves recessed into the cavity above the fridge for them. I would LOVE a wall unit for them, but that will take quite a bit of rearranging.

If you have a moveable microwave stand, it usually has storage under it. That's where I keep my cook books.

Hello all, I have WAY tooooo many cook books to display them as others here have said. Don't have room in kitchen for book cases but right now have one in our spacious utility room. But when we move the end of this month there will not be that lovely utility room GRRR! But I love my cook books and do get ideas out of them pretty often as well as my printed out recipes via online friends/sites. Happy Mothers Day all

Patti, are you moving AGAIN?

All this talk about organizing cookbooks inspired me. DH wanted to know what I want for Mother's Day. (THIS MORNING!) I have a very small kitchen and not much space. Right now the cookbooks don't fit. I looked around online and found a cute rack that was just what will fit in the unused corner! It's over 5 feet high and has 6 shelves. When I fill it, I'll take a pic & try to post it.

Here's pics of the front (first pic) and side (second one) of my cookbook shelf! I got everything on it but the antique ones that are on my dining room hutch, and the oversized ones. They could have gone on top but being heavy books, might have tipped it over.

Barbszy--
Love your display of cookbooks! Mine have a tendency to "wander" around the house--lol! I enjoy browsing through my cookbooks, so it's not unusual to find them in the living room or the bedroom!

Thanks :) I really like this little rack. It fits in the ONE bit of space I had available, really looks nice, shows off the pretty cookbooks....and the price was right. Plus, the cookbooks are in a place where I can easily reach them. Before, they were on top of my dining room hutch. I had to stand on a chair to get them down.

And, BONUS: it looks so good over there, I am trying really hard to keep the top of the table cleared off. That's a major Clutter Attracter in my house, since we can't all fit there to eat.
