I've made this for years. I LOVE it!
Wendy’s Chili
2 pounds ground beef
1 (29 oz) can tomato sauce
1 (29 oz) can kidney beans, with liquid
1 (29 oz) can pinto beans, with liquid
1 cup diced medium onion
1 small can diced green chilies
¼ cup diced celery
3 medium chopped tomatoes
2 teaspoon cumin
3 tablespoons chili powder
1 ½ teaspoon black pepper
2 teaspoon salt
2 cups water or chicken stock
Brown ground beef in large skillet using a fork until it is completely cooked and pea sized. Drain. In a large pot, combine the beef and all the remaining ingredients. Bring to a simmer over low heat, wtirring every 15 minutes for 2-3 hours.
