Favorite Omelet Fillings

Omelets are great for breakfast, lunch or even a light dinner. What are your favorite fillings for an omelet?

I like almost anythng in an omelet! All sorts of veggies are really good; broccoli,onion,asparagus tips, grated carrots, squash, zuccchini; okay so it is endless with the veggies! LOL A little cheese, bacon bits and chopped ham are also good. I really like the oven omelets as I don't always have luck with the stove top ones!

I especially love diced onions in all of mine. But, I also like shredded cheese of any flavor as well as tomatoes and bell peppers.

Last night we went to a diner. I had a bacon, Cheddar and tomato omelet. It was a great combo.

I also like onions and Swiss cheese.

We have a breakfast place here that makes the best omelets. I order two of them there. One is feta cheese and spinach. I'm not a mushroom fan. They do add mushrooms which I ask them to hold.

The other omelet is chili and cheese with a dab of sour cream.

Both are just excellent.
