chocolate brownies w/maple flavoring

I'm looking for a made from scratch recipe for chocolate brownies made with maple syrup or maple flavoring. anyone have one??

I have never made brownies with maple flavoring. Interesting concept though.

Tried these today and they came out good! They were orginally a "blonde" brownie, but I added he cocoa powder to make them chocolate.

Brownies


1 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup margarine, melted
1 1/2 tsp maple flavoring
2 eggs
1 1/2 cup all purpose flour
1/4 cup cocoa
1 tsp baking powder
1 cup walnuts,chopped
Confectioners' sugar

In a bowl, combine brown sugar, butter and maple flavoring. Beat in the eggs one at a time. Combine flour,cocoa, and baking powder and add to egg mixture. Stir in walnuts. Pour into a greased 9" square baking pan. Bake at 350degrees for 30 minutes or till brownies test done. Cool. Dust with confectioners' sugar.
