I like to make imitation-KFC "bowls" with leftovers from the turkey dinner. Turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, corn, gravy and cheese. Heat it all up. YUM!
This recipe works well with leftover turkey (http://www.momsmenu.com/forums/showpost.php?p=13374&postcount=7) and it's definitely not "Thanksgiving Rerun!"
We keep it pretty simple, hot turkry & gravy over slices of white bread, dressing & mashed potatoes. We do a large fruit bowl and a cold green been salad for the big T day do we have that with it. The next day is turkey soup with homemade Austrian dumplings ( my dh's job) My kids have already planned to be over again Saturday for this. It is made from grated potatoes( or leftover mashed) eggs , flour and croutons or leftover dressingg. My mil never added spices, we do. My kids adore thses simple meal and we used to make it when we were broke as it is really cheap to do. It is really funny what makes memories.

One traditional Thanksgiving leftover is a dish we call "Turkey Gunk" back from when I was a little girl. My mom always made it after we had a turkey dinner. It is just diced up cooked turkey reheated in a sauce made up of leftover gravy combined with a can of cream of chicken soup, served over rice. My all-time favorite comfort food!
