1 medium cabbage, shredded
2 medium white onions, thinly sliced
1 tsp hot sauce
1/4 cup red bell pepper, diced
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
1 cup mayonnaise
2 tsp celery seed
2 tbsp white vinegar
1 tbspsugar
Salt and pepper to taste
Place cabbage and onions in a large bowl and add hot sauce and toss. Let sit about 20 to 30 minutes. Add the bell pepper and parsley. In a small bowl combine remaining ingredients and mix well and pour over the cabbage mixture. Toss to coat well and cover and chill at least 1 hour before serving.
Makes 6 to 8 servings.
