My kids like one called "Williams Sonoma, The Kid's cookbook".
The is a good recipe in this book for granola bars made with dried apricots.
We are changing up the recipe and using raisins and cinnamon instead.
Any other good kids' cookbooks that you would recommend?

Thankx for the heads up. Better Homes and Gardens also does a great kids holiday cookbook, with all sorts of goodies.

I can't remember the exact name of it, but Betty Crocker has one that is pretty good. Actually I don't know if it is still in print or not; my boys always liked it years ago.

Rachael Ray has a good one for kids called Cooking Rocks! We've tried a few recipes from it and they're very good. Plus, she is a funny writer so a young cook age 8 to 11 would enjoy the jokes in the book.

I have a couple of kids recipe books, they are good for quick easy things to make, and I'm all for that. I also have a couple of microwave kids cookbooks. I don't think they're ones you'd get in the US they are called "Womens Weekly" cookbooks and they are from a monthly magazine compilations.
Womans weekly comes out monthly
Womans day comes out weekly
Who can figure them out, not me.

Another thing I used to do to get the boys interested in cooking when they were small was to pick up some kids cookbooks at the library and let them plan a menu from them, then they went shopping with me and they had "their" grocery " list for "their" meals! Made it fun and it must have worked because unlike their dad, both of the boys enjoying cooking!
