Cherry Chocolate Crockpot Dessert

A very chocolatey-cherry dessert, that works well in the oven too.

1 (21 ounce) can cherry pie filling
1 package chocolate cake mix
1/2 cup butter



Place pie filling in slow cooker.

Combine dry cake mix and butter.
Sprinkle over filling.
Cover and cook on low for 3 hours.

I think this will take care of dessert tonight; since it is going to be near 90 degrees today I really don;t want to turn on the oven; thanks for sharing this!

Let us know how this turns out. I hadnt tried it yet but I wanted to share it because it looked so good!

Mine didn't take as long to cook; it was around 2 - 2 1/2 hours and I thought it was done at that point! It was tasty!
