'Tis the season for ice cream and it's fun to make with the kids!

1 TB Sugar
1/2 C half & half
1/4 tsp Vanilla
6 TB Rock (or iodized) salt
1 pint-size Ziploc plastic bag
1 gallon-size Ziploc plastic bag
Ice cubes
Fill the large bag half full of ice, add salt. Seal the bag tightly.
In the small bag combine half/half, vanila & sugar. and seal it.
Put the small bag inside the large one and seal again carefully.
Shake until the small bag is ice cream, about 5 minutes.

We don't have half and half here, if I remember right it's like a thin cream or thickish milk? I might just have to try and give it a go LOL

Billy, you could use regular creme ...it would just be thicker and richer. Actually sounds kind of good lol.
