Herbs are bountiful now. I love to use fresh herbs in my cooking, whenever possible.
I would say that my favorite is Basil.
Basil, Tomato, Fresh Mozzarella and Olive oil. MMM!!!
Do you have a favorite?

I chose other because garlic is my favorite! I cannot cook without it!

I also picked other; same reason as DeBora. I really don't use fresh herbs in cooking. We have chives growing wild in our backyard but I don't use them. Sometimes my neighbor asks to snip some and I tell her to go ahead and take all she wants.
Do you think it's too late in the season to start a container herb garden?

I don't do a lot of cooking with fresh herbs but would love to learn how. I guess my favorite would be garlic or oregano.

Mine would be parsley or the more Italian type herbs, I always have parsley fresh or dried.

I have discovered Greek Oregano and use it quite often. We have a whiskey barrel on our deck that has parsley, sage, rosemary, thyme and the Greek oregano.

I picked something else because I am with the above poster that I tend to use alot of garlic. I love garlic. It don't love me though. When I eat it it comes out my pores for what seems like days.

I tend to use a lot of rosemary so I grow it, but I also use a lot of parsley, cilantro and dill too.

Tough choice! I like using a lot of these, but I chose dill. I've really been enjoying adding dill to salads, especially those such as potato salad. It just adds something extra that I really like tasting with the combination of the other ingredients. :)
